Screenprinting on a budget.

I’m totally trying this.  I got all the supplies already.  I just need to figure out what design I want to do first.

Tutorial is by marinaglory on burdastyle (not sure if she has a tumblr or anything, but I wanted to credit her for the wonderful idea)

Supplies: 

  • Fine woven polyester (Georgette or chiffon will do)
  • cardboard
  • pencil
  • permanent marker
  • scissors
  • Mod Podge
  • screen printing ink (Speedball and Jacquard are the two most reasonable that I know of)
  • 12” embroidery hoop
  • an iron
